Company History1978 Founding of Mosmatic AG in Switzerland. The first location of the Company was Mosnang (a Town nearby). The Company name represents the combination of the name of the town with the ending of automatic (Mosnang - automatic). In those early days Mosmatic manufactured and sold "Self Service Carwash Systems".
1980 Out growing the facility in Mosnang, Mosmatic found a new production and office building in Necker.
1984 The production of the "Self Service Carwash Systems" reached a magnitude, which could no longer be handled by a small Company. Installation and sales of the systems were sold to WAP, in Bellenberg Germany. Mosmatic then concentrated all its efforts on R&D and Sales of components and accessories, like lances, swivels and booms for the Self Service Carwash Systems. The first CNC Machines were bought.
1988 Founding of Mosmatic Corporation in Bristol, WI, USA, as an independent sales organization.
1991 A new Lan- based - Computer System was implemented.
1994 To benefit from the newest technology available Computer Aided Design was introduced to the Engineering department.
1995 First Edition of a Catalog in four languages: German, English, French and Italian.
1996 Internet platform was installed.
2000 Inauguration of the new building at Mosmatic AG in Switzerland includes:
- larger productions and assembly floors
- renovated offices and meeting rooms
2000 Certification according to the guidelines of ISO-9001
- Certificate in four languages: German, English, French and Italian
2001 Inauguration of the new building in Bristol, WI, USA included:
- larger warehouse
- additional sales and customer service offices
2003 25 year anniversary of Mosmatic AG, Switzerland.
