We celebrated the completion and official opening of our new warehouse. The hall, designed by the architectural firm Schällibaum AG, was successfully built within just a year in collaboration with the construction company E. Weber AG from Wattwil. The hall, with an area of 800 square meters, provides space for up to 600 pallets and helps to further optimize our logistics and increase efficiency.
The festive opening took place among our employees and craftsmen, who celebrated the project’s completion together. With this new building, we are reaffirming our commitment to the Necker production site, where we have our headquarters with approximately 110 employees. “We are delighted to be able to continue making an important contribution as a regional employer by investing in the local infrastructure and thank all the companies involved for the swift and smooth implementation of the project,” said our CEO Patrick Rieben in his speech at the inauguration.
As part of our commitment to ecological responsibility, we have installed a 126 kWp photovoltaic system on the roof of the new warehouse. This significantly increases our self-produced electricity and is a key component of our sustainability strategy.
Following the expansion of the production area in 2021, this additional investment of approximately CHF 2 million marks another milestone in our company’s history. We intend to continue investing in the infrastructure at our headquarters in Necker. The recently completed expansion of the warehouse is a central element of these efforts and will help us in continuing our ambitious growth plans.
